The City of Escondido failed to respond to a public records request regarding redevelopment funds (mentioned in a school bond measure meeting) in any meaningful way until just after the 2008 election. City Letter 08/07/2008 The request was originally made on July 28, 2008, more than 3 months before the election on Nov. 2, 2008.
